Our Story

We are not the light.

 

 

We are the ones who walked in darkness.

We are the ones who chose it.

We are the reason the cross was necessary.

Some blame Rome.

Some blame religious leaders.

Some blame Judas.

But the truth is harder.

It was us.

Our pride.

Our sin.

Our shame.

Darkness is not just around us, it lives in us.

And yet…

There is a rebellion rising.

Not a rebellion against governments.

Not a rebellion against political parties.

Not a rebellion against culture.

A rebellion against the darkness within and that surrounds us.

Dark Times Rebellion exists for those who know what it feels like to be broken.

For those who have stared at their own failures.

For those who have wrestled with guilt, shame, addiction, anger, pride, despair, loneliness, rejection.

We do not glorify the dark.  We fight it.

We walk through dark times with a whisper on our lips:

“Defeat darkness. Follow the Light.”

The lantern we carry is not ours.

The light does not come from within.

 

It is Christ.

He is the Light in the darkness.

The only Light that overcomes it.

The only Light that saves us.

This brand is not the destination.

It is a signal fire.

A quiet ministry disguised as apparel.

A signal to the weary.

A reminder to the fallen.

A call to the rebel who refuses to let darkness win.

Through Christ, broken things are made new.

We are not here to sell rebellion.

We are here to rebel against sin.
